Landing Pages. Maybe you’re confused or maybe you’re intrigued but don’t worry. I’ll tell you what landing pages are, how to learn to do them and most importantly how to make money from doing them.
You click on an online ad, on Youtube, on Google – anywhere.
Where does it take you?
To a website?
Maybe, but more than likely you are taken to a landing page.
A landing page is an area in a marketing strategy that tries to convert someone in their target audience from interested to paid customer.
When you click an online ad, it means that you are interested in that product or service.
If you were to click and the ad takes you directly to a website, you might explore the website a bit, may find an item or you may wander off and move on.
Landing pages takes you, the potential customer, through a certain set of actions.
You click an ad, it takes you to a landing page, that landing page shows exactly what the company thinks you want to do.
Maybe that’s booking a service now, so they have a button that says BOOK NOW or takes you directly to the page that has the product you were interested in, in the first place.
No company wants to take the chance that you wander away, a landing page helps get your customer to where you think they want to be.
It’s essentially a 1-page website.
So now you know what they ARE, but do you have to be a website builder to make them?
NO.
There are numerous online landing page builders that you can learn. They are simple software and templates so you don’t need any special technological skills. Like, at all.

So what are they? Check. How to make them. Check. How to make money off of them….
Small businesses and even well established companies of the older generation (ahem, boomers) don’t often have a digital presence.
Landing pages are perfect for that. As I said it’s essentially a 1-page website and it can give that small business some sense of an online presence.
It can also be an affordable marketing option for small businesses. They can use the link when they decide to begin online ads.
What do you need to do:
Acquire the skill. Get really good. That means perfect layout design and copywriting that leads the customer to take action.
Decide your format. Will you custom build for businesses according to their desires? OR will you offer clients a few templates to choose from and add a logo?
Find your clients. Maybe you want to offer your skills for local businesses, or maybe on an online marketplace.
How about you do it only for HVAC companies or nail salons.
What area are you going to niche in?
Don’t forget to charge accordingly! I really see this idea as generating income as a side hustle. Maybe it doesn’t replace your full income but you can get a few extra 100’s a month in your pocket.
This is a great way to increase your skills in a simple way, make money with low startup costs and help out other businesses.
