Well what if we were to take relevant modern products, mixed with televised shopping and help sellers reach a large number of buyers?

I’m so excited about this idea because people do live-streaming a lot nowadays and on Youtube you can watch nature and listen to relaxing music live, or see animals giving birth live at a zoo and people consume it. There is a market on that side of things.
On the other hand online shopping has never been bigger and will continue to grow, so if both are so wonderful why not marry the two!
Okay so the idea…
is a live streaming Youtube channel that is a platform for people selling products, particularly I’m thinking of Instagram products.
Really small or niche side businesses that are something modern or creative. They pay you to showcase and talk about their product in a 5-10 minute segment.
After 10 minutes you switch to a new segment, but if viewers want to buy the products an affiliate link is pinned in the live chat that gives this channel an extra bit of revenue, but allows the seller to capture that customer to be able to sell to them again in the future.
The biggest differentiation is where you sell and what. Your products are to reach a younger, more fun audience than traditional home shopping channels and ones that are a bit more tech savvy.
It would be a live stream but it doesn’t mean segments are not pre-recorded and put together in advance.
What you need…
to execute this idea is yourself and a few friends who can talk a lot, are funny and interesting.
Sellers willing to pay a price for the advertising, the equipment to live stream and someone to man the chat and possibly a website to also showcase the products all together.
I think it’s really simple to start once you decide on format and pricing. Maybe it won’t be on 24/7 but who knows what the future holds.
You make money essentially as an advertiser from sellers and from buyers with the affiliate links to the products. You could do one-off prices or sell as a package to mention their product more than once spread throughout a certain time frame.
You let sellers retain control over their product, which most marketplace websites don’t allow and you’re helping small businesses.
